Well now, to any of my poor watchers that still care to read this, I send out a heartfelt pitiful apology, that does not in any way make up for my lack of activity on here . I got a full time job last march (so this month marks one year) and since then I've done.... 1 personal piece of art. Only 1. And it wasn't even from start to finish, it was a piece that I had started before I got the job, and I only got one day to work on it. One blissful day of personal art. It was heavenly... the angels sang.....
I enjoy the work I do at my job, I'm a 2D artist for casual games and I get to make pretty background and work with lots of good people. But it's always busy. It's always crunch time. Always. Always... O_O *rocks back and forth in chair*. Often my work weeks range from 40, to 50 to sometimes 60 hours. Usually around the 48-52 hour mark I get to have a weekend, such as it is. It's usually filled with sleeping til noon, then chores and possibly cooking, then more sleeping then hopefully some quality time with my boyfriend whom I also live with.
Thats one good thing that has come out of this job and it's retarded 10-12 hour days, I met my boyfriend there who is also a 2D artist and through those long hours at work we grew to know each other fairly well. We started dating and we moved in together shortly after, seeing as how we spent all our time together anyways.
So that's a basic rundown of my last year, in which I don't think I've posted a single thing on here =/. Work work work and hopefully some time with my BF. I have some gift art on hold as well as a trade with the lovely which I have NOT forgotten about. It's sitting here, on my computer.... mocking me whenever I open up my Art folder to add more stuff to my backups. I open up the folder and dream of the good old times when I had the capacity to do personal art. *sigh*.

I need to balance my life a bit more, some serious personal art shit needs to get done.

PS-- Also I should note on here that as of this moment I have 8,179 messages/deviations in my messages/watch folder. Ya thats something I will get through Never.

Again, sorry for the lack of posts, I very much hope to post some small things on here at some point, if nothing else I'd like to finish my art trade and the gift arts and put them up here. Then after that I might just switch to my blog and have small thumbnails of pics on here or something.
